The Manatee Association of REALTORS® introduces the
"My Community Makeover" (MCM) Program

This community program was organized in 2007 by a group of dedicated Manatee County REALTORS® and Affiliate Business Partners through a partnership with the Manatee Community Foundation.

The mission of this program is to complete necessary home repairs and improvements to
insure the comfort, safety, health and security of the home for families. The program
provides hope to families and is inspired after the popular prime time television show that
involves community volunteers and skilled building trades who completely rebuild a
home in just one week. The MCM project is not as extreme as the television version,
but it is just as powerful to the ones receiving the help.

There are currently five local families in the program.

Get to know the families and see why this group of dedicated volunteers are so determined in their efforts to make life better for those who need tremendous support while dealing with everyday life.
